LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The Department of Education Benguet Schools Division produced at least nine passers of the National Qualifying Examination for Principals.
Based on the results released on March 17 under DepEd Memorandum No. 64, s. 2011 through the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP), the passer are: Albino Caoile of Mankayan (99.42), Elsie Tacio of Bokod (98.45), Nancy Banas-e of Atok (97.91), Mildred Marquez (96.30), Rosalina Taqued (95.40), and Leonardo Nayeng (91.20) of Tuba, Onofre Limpays of Buguias (94.84), Julita Danio of Kibungan (91.93) and Alberto Cipriano of Tublay (90.98).
The cut-off score of the 2010 NQEP is placed at 90 percent based on the total standard scores obtained by the examinees in all performance areas covered by the examination with an equivalent raw score of 101 consisted of 170 items. Given the cut-off of 90 percentile, there were 924 test takers who hurdled in said exams nationwide, representing at least 9.5 percent of the total aspirants of 9,778.
Passers of this qualifying examination shall form pool of qualifiers from which shall be drawn those who will undergo the required training for Principalship and eventually be appointed to vacant Principal I positions.
