Police hotlines in city released
by Harley Palangchao

The Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) has released its hotlines which residents and tourists can contact in times of emergency and in anticipation of the influx of tourists during the Christmas and New Year’s celebrations.

BCPO director, S/Supt. David Lacdan, said the hotlines can be contacted 24/7 or at any time of the day or night.

The mass dissemination of the hotlines, including mobile numbers, is being conducted by the BCPO because it wants the public to support the peacekeeping efforts in the locality.

Lacdan added that hotlines are being informed so that concerned individuals will not blame the police for not responding to emergency calls.

“Crime can be suppressed and prevented if the community and police work hand in hand in crime busting,” reads the BCPO statement.
