No to privatization of the Baguio General Hospital
ROSE SATURNINO, Dallas, Texas

I strongly agree with the column of Guillermo Bandonill Jr. regarding the privatization of the Baguio General Hospital.

Privatizing the old reliable BGH is a no-no.

I call upon all Cordillerans to oppose such a horrific move. May we realize the effects of the absence of a government hospital where we could go for medical help when we are in dire need. I work overseas but I’m planning to retire there. I fear I may not afford to go to a private hospital when the need arises. Please oppose the privatization of the facility. To my knowledge, the government has done a great job maintaining it.

Let it be!
