Christ has risen
PERCIVAL B. ALIPIT, Baguio City

Easter Sunday in celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, is the most significant Christian feast.

Christ was sent from heaven to Earth to preach the gospel of truth about our Creator, exemplify obedience to the divine words of the Almighty and bestow blessings.

But despite His perfection, wisdom, grace and benevolence, He was put to death by the ignominy of people. Nevertheless, Christ miraculously rose from the dead with the promise that He will come again to clean the Earth of wickedness and redeem mankind the way He meant them to be.

History shows that human rulers are incapable of subduing crime, injustice, violence, war, poverty, illness and catastrophes. Thus, the time is near when the Lord shall intervene to save the world from being totally ruined.

It is prophesied that God will soon have an establishment of His Kingdom here on Earth to restore the lost paradise and those who believe in Him and choose the ways of righteousness, love, service and gratitude are guaranteed inhabitance on Earth and assured of peace, prosperity, security and enjoyment of an everlasting life.
