Hail to Benguet on its 11th Foundation Day and 12th Adivay Festival
PERCIVAL B. ALIPIT, Baguio City

We commend Benguet province for the spectacular and noteworthy celebrations of its Foundation Day Adivay Festival.

Highlighted by the bindiyan, the longest traditional Ibaloy line ever performed and could be entered into the Guinness World Record, it portrays a culture of unity and harmony among the people of Benguet. This should be enriched to boost prosperity in this modern times.

Benguet consists predominantly of farming communities and the agricultural fair where the best products in vegetables, fruits, ornamentals, and meat of the 13 municipalities were displayed.

With trade liberalization, the quality of products must satisfy international standards with the use of technological advances to be competitive in the world market.

Let the development and achievements of Benguet be enhanced and sustained with vigor.
