Rekindling fond memories of Baguio
by Don West, 800 Colonial Cir, Jackson, MS 39211, donwest@bellsouth.net

I am an 'old' Baguio resident, having lived there from 1947 to 1958. I attended Maryknoll School and moved to Brent School where I graduated. I still consider Baguio my home as it is where I spent my formative years.

I lived at Camp John Hay where my father, Tucker West, was the base engineer.  His assistant, Gelacio Munsayac, was a second father to me and a wonderful friend. I knew your founding editor, Sinai Hamada, and played a fair amount of golf with his brother, Ossie Hamada.  Both were true gentlemen.

Should any of your readers remember me, I would love to hear from them.
