Mangaoang leads inauguration of infra projects in Eastern MP

Kalinga Rep. Allen Jesse C. Mangaoang, legislative caretaker of Mountain Province and the chief of staff of the Office of the Congressman, Cyphrine Dalog visited the eastern towns of the province to inaugurate infrastructure projects which were completed this year.

On Sept. 19, the Gawana Multi-Purpose Building in Barlig, the two-story, four-classroom school building of the Natonin National High School in Barangay Tonglayan and the Multi-purpose Building in Barangay Alunugan were inaugurated.

Also inaugurated last Sept. 20 were school buildings in Paracelis – the two-storey, four-classroom building of Balindan Elementary School, Paracelis Technical and Vocational High School, Butigue National High School and Burayoc ES. Dalog also visited the Tulong-Dunong grantees Commission on Higher Education of the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College-Bacarri campus and a community in Barangay Bunot to turn-over kitchen wares which the late congressman Maximo Dalog Sr. promised to give.

On Sept. 21 Mangaoang inaugurated the recently completed Sinmakbot Bridge and Sinigpit Bridge located at Barangay Butigue, along the Mountain Province-Isabela Road.

The Mountain Province Second District Engineering Office, being the implementing agency of the projects, turned over the documents of ownership to the respective school heads and barangay captains emphasizing the need for the stakeholders to be responsible in the management, protection and preservation of the facilities. On the other hand, the Department of Education through Paracelis District Supervisor Jacinto Yassan articulated the agency’s gratitude to the DPWH and the Office of the Congressman for the construction and turnover of said build
