Also, the annual Philippine Skyrunning National Championships or the Pilipinas Akyathlon is slated on Feb. 9 to 10 in Tinongdan, Itogon, Benguet.

The event will have five race categories, namely kiddie akyathlon, vertical kilometer (national VK championships), 10K trail run, 25K mountain run, and the 49K skymarathon (national skyrunning championships).

All categories will start and finish at Binga Gym, except for the VK, which will have a finish line at the summit of Mt. Inoman.

The courses feature magnificent views of Binga Lake, rice fields in remote villages, unspoiled pine forests, and hanging bridges crossing the mighty Agno River.

Registration fees are P500 for the kiddie akyathlon; P1,200 for the vertical kilometer; P2,200 for the 25K; P3,200 for the 49K; and P1,200 for the 10K.
