BFPS Club sets 5-stage shootfest

by Jogin Tamayo

The sports of practical shooting coupled with gun safety and marksmanship may now be enjoyed as ever.

The opportunity to be more profoundly aware of the mechanics of gun care, safety and target shooting is being offered by the Bullet Fire Practical Shooters Club, Inc. of the University of Baguio.

The BFPSC, under club president and UB vice president for infrastructure, with the  theme, “Reaching Out to the Public” to commemorate UB’s 60th Foundation Day  will conduct an Open 5-stage IPSC Shoot Fest at the Prime Hills Firing Range in Taloy, Tuba, Benguet on July 5 and 6.

The Open Invitational Gunshoot is slated July 5 while July 6 will be for the UB employees to mark the start of sports events to commemorate the schools’s foundation anniversary.

The BFPSC recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Prime Hills firing range owner Gilbert Atioan last week.

All interested participants are required to register at the Prime Hills Shooting Range on the date of the competition.
