14TH IBALOY DAY — Ibaloys from Baguio City and neighboring areas celebrated the 14th Ibaloy Day starting with a parade at Session Road that ended at the Ibaloy Heritage Park, for a whole day celebration on Feb. 23. Ibaloy Day, through a 2009 city council resolution, celebrates the U.S. Supreme Court decision granting the Mateo Cariño Doctrine or the Native Title that recognizes as valid land rights the testimonies of indigenous peoples who have occupied their land since time immemorial (more images on page 12). — Ofelia Empian
