The BCC announced the birth of Justice Ozaeta Cup, which will be held on Oct. 21 and 22 at the challenging par 61 BCC course.

Day one of the tournament will be a practice round for all participants while a tree planting within the BCC reservation will be held the same day followed by a ceremonial tee off in the afternoon.

Tournament proper will be on Oct. 21 through shotgun start, in which all 18 holes will be occupied by registered participants.

Registration fee is pegged at P2,000 for BCC members and P3,000 for non-members inclusive of two mulligans, cocktails, raffle, and giveaways.

The format of play will be the Molave Point System, but the most exciting part of the tournament is that each participant will have to select seven clubs only, including the putter. The maximum number of clubs being used by any player in a tournament is 14.

The classifications for BCC members and guests will be class A to C for men and class A and B only for the ladies’ division.
