BONTOC, Mountain Province – The mobile outreach services conducted by the Professional Regulations Commission-Cordillera in partnership with the Bontoc local government unit benefitted 264 professionals and aspiring professionals.
The PRC team, led by Regional Director Juanita Domoguen, rendered services to 239 clients for renewal, three new applicants, and 22 clients for authentication and certification.
Majority of the clients who availed of the program were those who were unable to renew their licenses due to the community quarantines and travel restrictions as precaution against the spread of the Covid-19.
Mayor Franklin Odsey expressed his gratitude to the PRC for responding to his request for the conduct of mobile outreach services to cater to professionals and aspiring professionals in Mountain Province.
He said since the start of the pandemic last year that resulted in the imposition of community quarantines and travel restrictions, there has been a clamor from professionals in Bontoc and nearby municipalities for such activity.
Odsey expressed hopes the activity will be conducted twice a year.
