The city government will hold another round, this time for five days, of the radio-frequency identification (RFID) Autosweep stickering possibly at the Loakan Airport on the first week of December.

Mayor Benjie Magalong said this is to accommodate more motorists in the city.

The initial two-day staging last Nov. 16 and 17 catered to a limited number of vehicles and caused some traffic and organizational concerns.

This prompted the mayor to issue an apology to commuters for the inconvenience brought about by the activity.

To cater to those who missed out the initial outing, the mayor appealed to San Miguel Corporation head Ramon Ang to hold another round, which was immediately approved by the SMC management.

The mayor said he is considering Loakan Airport as the site to avoid inconvenience to the public.

He committed to communicate directly with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines to secure approval for the use of the airport.

He is also in talks with Northern Luzon Expressway Corporation for the EasyTrip stickering, which was originally scheduled last week.
