Joint operatives of the Ifugao Provincial Police Office and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Ifugao collared a drug surrenderer for selling illegal drugs to a law enforcer at Poblacion, Tinoc.

Authorities arrested Edward Daogas Aldave, a drug surrenderer of Tinoc, Ifugao, on Nov. 4 after selling 0.08 grams of shabu worth P1,500 to a law enforcer. Authorities confiscated another 0.02 grams of shabu worth P1,000 from the suspect.

Aldave was arrested with the help of an informant who sent a tip to law enforcers that the suspect was engaged in illegal drug trade in Tinoc.

The suspect was charged for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 and is detained at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Tiger Hill, Baguinge, Kiangan with commitment order issued by Judge Romeo U. Habbiling of Regional Trial Court Branch 14.

The arresting team was led by the Provincial Intelligence Unit and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit under Maj. Edgar L. Tapo, Tinoc Municipal Police led by Lt. Bernabe B. Doctolero, and PDEA-Ifugao led by Ivan Dick G. Dayao. – Press release
