Three personnel of the Baguio City Police Office received the Medalya ng Kasanayan award from the Police Regional Office-Cordillera during the Monday flag-raising ceremony at the Masigasig Grandstand in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on May 15.
The Medalya ng Kasanayan were awarded to BCPO Director Col. Francisco B. Bulwayan, Jr., and Lt. Col. Reymino G. Paduyao, chief City Operations Management Unit, after the BCPO outperformed other provincial police offices in the region on the campaign against illegal drugs during the Nationwide Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (Sacleo) conducted from April 18 to 23.
BCPO Information Officer, Cpt. Angeline Dongpaen, said the Baguio’s Finest has recorded the highest number of operations conducted including the highest arrest of high-value individuals, and the highest volume of shabu seized during the six-day Sacleo based on the consolidated reports on anti-illegal drug accomplishments among six PPOs.
The third awardee is Maj. Leonard A. Danasen, acting chief of the City Administrative and Resource Management Unit of BCPO, for successfully passing the 2022 Bar examinations conducted on Nov. 9, 13, 16, and 20, 2022 in 14 testing centers in Luzon. – Jessa Mardy P. Samidan
