Personnel of the Baguio City Police Office have arrested three top most wanted persons and 18 others in a series of operations conducted July 24 to 29.
The BCPO, under its Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operation (Sacleo) program, served warrants of arrest and carried out anti-criminality campaign during the week-long operations.
This resulted in the arrest of Sheily Joy Edoc, 37, of San Vicente, Baguio for estafa. Edoc is the top nine most wanted person (TMWP) in the region.
Also arrested were Resurrecion Neri Macabeo, 65, for acts of lasciviousness, who is the TMWP in the city level; and Nancy Lawagan Baddal, 62, for homicide. She is also a city-level TMWP.
Three other unnamed wanted persons were also nabbed through warrants of arrest for various crimes and offenses.
Fifteen other high-value and street-level target individuals were arrested for drug peddling.
They were identified as Dlanor John Aquino Villanueva, 30; Sandra Marie Waclin, 24; Mike Kevin Ancheta, 26; Michael Orlanda Bassit, 50; Erwin Dela Pena, 30; Briggs Austria Balacdao, 29; Paulo Estacio Julian, 29; and John Michael Damian, 33. 
Other suspects arrested for alleged drug peddling were Vivian Singson, 52; Leonardo Canalete, 40; Serran Vicente, 32; Jefferson Dulay, 29; Jerry Lloyd Miano, 30; Jeffrey Macabangan Calata, 28; and Prince Danielle Dumagcao, 22.
More or less 35.6 grams of shabu worth P188,280 were confiscated during the operations.
The suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The BCPO also confiscated 16 firearms which are unregistered and unlicensed, and with expired or unrenewed licenses. – Ofelia C. Empian
