The management of the Benguet General Hospital (BeGH) has advised the public it will limit its services so they can devote more time to patients who have Covid-19.
In a social media post, BeGH said Outpatient Department consultation for pediatrics, internal medicine, and dental has been suspended.
Only the Obstetrics and Gynecology and Surgery departments will remain open every morning, Monday to Friday.
BeGH will also limit admission of patients for surgery to emergency operations only.
“The hospital management is implementing such measures due to the increasing number of Covid-19 patients being admitted. Some of the hospital staff had also tested positive and others are in quarantine,” BeGH said.
The BeGH said it will provide free online consultation through its telemedicine portal, https://www.facebook.com/balaw.beng, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. – PNA
