Four months after it suspended operations due to quarantine regulations, Bencab Museum reopened July 18.
The new (temporary) museum hours will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday, and closed on Mondays.
Visitors entering the museum premises must wear face masks, have their temperature taken, sign health declaration forms, and practice safe distancing upon entry. The museum management reserves the right to deny entry to any visitor who refuses to undertake precautionary measures, shows signs of illness, or has a temperature of 37.6 degrees Celsius and above.
Museum capacity will be kept below 50 percent on a room-by-room basis so that visitors can maintain safe distancing at a minimum of one meter. Group tours are temporarily suspended.
Other safety measures are in place to safeguard visitors and the museum staff.
There will also be guided tours of the Bencab farm and garden eco trail.
Café Sabel will also be open with the same hours as the museum. A limited menu will be available and outdoor seating is encouraged.
The museum’s current exhibitions “Distinction” by John Frank Sabado at Gallery Indigo and “Nesting Ground” by Art Lozano at Sepia Gallery are on view until Aug. 2. – Press release
