After two years of postponement, Benguet will host the 17th Mountaineering Federation of the Philippines, Inc. (MFPI) Luzon Summit on June 10 to 12 in Ambongdolan, Tublay.
The event, led by the 18 Degrees Outdoor Club, Inc. in partnership with the provincial government, is open to MFPI members and non-members.
On day one, participants will camp at Ambongdolan where the registration and basic mountaineering course will be held, including the opening program with Tublay Mayor Armand Lauro.
Afternoon activities include a tour at the famous balete tree and Ahonda rock adventure and rock climbing. Cultural night and presentation of various club members will follow in the evening.
Day two activities include a climb to Mt. Pokgong and another basic mountaineering course in the area. Participants would then proceed to the Paterno and Bengaongao Caves and Ketong Falls.
In the afternoon, there would be an adventure race at the base camp followed by an acoustic night, awarding, and socials.
On the third day, participants would again enjoy the beauty of Bayokbok Falls and break camp by the afternoon.  
Early bird promo is open from April 6 to 22 with registration for MFPI members at P900 and for non-MFPI members at P1,000. After the period, regular pre-registration for MFPI members is P1,200 and P1,200 for non-MFPI members.
Onsite registration is also open with P1,200 for MFPI members and P1,300 for non-members. Event shirt is free for all registrants.
