BEST TOURISM VILLAGES — Tourism Asec. for Regional Operations and Tourism Standards and Regulation Christopher Morales and DOT-CAR Director Jovita Ganongan awarded checks, certificates ,and trophies to the winners and all the participants in the Search for the Best Tourism Village in Baguio City on Feb. 8. The Hapao-Baang-Nungulunan Clustered Tourism Village in Hungduan, Apayao was named as the champion or the Best Tourism Village and won P1 million cash prize aside from the trophy and certificate. The clustered barangays are the host of the Punnuk Festival, the annual celebration that marks the end of the harvest season. — Redjie Cawis
