In support to the Department of Education’s mission in providing quality, equitable, culture-based, and complete basic education, the Bontoc municipal government entered into a memorandum of agreement with the DepEd Schools Division of Mountain Province.
Mayor Jerome Tudlong Jr. and Schools Division Superintendent Sally Ullalim signed the MOA on Jan. 9 at the mayor’s office, witnessed by Senior Education Program Specialist-School Mobilization Networking Section of DepEd-Mountain Province Sonia Batnag and Office of the Municipal Mayor staff Venus Lingbawan.
The municipal government also inked a deed of donation of the municipal lot in Suyo, Can-eo, Bontoc where the Can-eo Elementary School is located.
The lot was donated by Mr. and Ms. Charupang, Miguel Cawed, Herman Piayas, and Margarita Lumiwes to the LGU. – Christy Mae Che-es
