Registration is now open for the first virtual Cordillera Dance Festival on Oct. 23 and 24.
The online dancesport competition supported by the Philippine Dancesport Federation features Latin and standard disciplines with the solo division featuring the juvenile, junior, youth, grades D, C, and B.
The duo division, meanwhile, features the juvenile, junior, youth, and open; while the couple events are grades C and B in the competition that would gather participants from all over the country and overseas like Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Entry fees for solo juvenile, junior, and youth will be P300 for two events plus P50 for every additional event. The solo grade D, C, and B is P400 for one event plus P100 for additional event while fees for duo events are P300 for one event and for the graded couple, P500 for one event plus P100 for additional event.
Interested participants may submit their entries to [email protected] until Oct. 3 for entry forms and Oct. 9 for payments.

DanceSport Cordillera, Inc. president and organizer Pingawan said confirmed dancers must make sure they are technically ready for the online competition set through Zoom.
For the couple events, participants must secure and submit barangay certification stating partners are staying together in one place for at least one month. They must wear a facemask while dancing.
It will also be broadcast live on Dance Results Philippines Facebook account and Dancesport TV on YouTube.
There will be 23 adjudicators during the two-day event with 19 coming from the Philippines and one each coming from Spain, Korea, Indonesia, and Italy.
