BONTOC, Mountain Province – Fifty-one individuals from the different barangays here who are part of the Sinab-ang Organization-Rice Retailing are recipients of the Integrated Livelihood Program of the Department of Labor and Employment.
Mayor Jerome Tudlong, Jr.; Rep. Maximo Dalog, Jr.; and representatives from the DOLE turned over equipment and materials to the recipients on June 8.
The items that were provided are 365 sacks of rice, plastic bags, weighing scales, push carts, tables, and monoblock chairs.
This was realized through the efforts of DOLE, the municipal government, and the Office of Dalog.
Tudlong extended his gratitude to the DOLE and Dalog for the assistance and support the municipality received.
He also advised the beneficiaries to sustain their livelihood as he assured the LGU will conti-nue to collaborate with various agencies for the provision of programs and pro-jects that will benefit the community. The LGU as an accredited co-partner will assist in the monitoring of the project to ensure its sustainability. – Alpine L.Killa-Malwagay
