A fastfood brand named after a famous country musician and another coffee shop have returned to Baguio, adding to the city’s gastronomic offerings.
Kenny Rogers Roasters and Seattle’s Best Coffee have opened their newest stores at the SM Baguio’s lower ground floor expansion.
Kenny Rogers is returning to the city with its specialty and healthier chicken alternative – the roasted chicken and its signature home-made muffins.
Aside from these, the brand also offers varied choices on it menu, among them pasta, salads, steaks, sandwiches and a variation of side dishes and desserts.
Seattle’s Best is also offering various food choices ranging from breakfast dishes to pasta, salads, and sandwiches aside from the coffee and non-coffee-based beverages.
Kenny Rogers franchisee Jeremy Sy said he hopes the brand’s comeback would have an impact on the city’s residents.
The brand has operated in Baguio, but has closed shop several years ago.
Seattle’s Best, meanwhile, was among the original tenants of SM Baguio when the mall opened in 2003, but has also shut down.
Kenny Rogers and Seattle’s Best had their inauguration and dedication on Jan. 7 and are among the 18 stores that initially fill the newly opened SM expansion building. They are the lone franchises that are operating in Baguio City.
Aside from Kenny Rogers and Seattle’s Best Coffee, the lower ground floor expansion houses Zark’s Burgers, Buffalo Wings N’ Things, Macao Imperial Tea, Burger King, Classic Savory, Sizzling Plate, Army Navy, Shakey’s, McDonald’s, Timberland, Hush Puppies, Traffic Footwear, Mined and Polished, Dr. Kong, New Era, and Time Depot.
