The first rolling market rolled April at the Bayan Park covered court in Aurora Hill barangay to cater to the 13 barangays of district 9 and district 19.
The next schedule was April 4 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the parking lot near the Loakan airport runway in Barangay Loakan Proper.
Assessment and evaluation will follow to consider setting up the same projects in other districts.
The project is spearheaded by the city government through the Special Services Division in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Agriculture, and Joey Mangangan, Tiongsan, Puregold, Savemore, and other suppliers.
As planned, rolling markets will be set up to cover all districts to bring the markets closer to the people.
The Irisan cluster will be served by a community satellite market.
