El Yu Bagwis fighter Kervin Lampacan won the World Council Combat Sports Philippines’ silver K1 title after stopping Jerome Balualua of the University of Baguio Dare Team in the main event of a recent martial arts promotion held at the La Trinidad gym. 

In the K1 super fight and co-main event, Benedict Alumno displayed exceptional striking skills en route to a split decision win over Biondi Dayangadang.

Meanwhile, Jhaymie Gayman sealed a unanimous decision win over Romeo Sinakay in the professional K1, which marked the return of these fighters after a break from stepping in the ring.

In the pro-kickboxing, Johnray Gallanto knocked out Alvius Cordero in the third round for a technical knockout win. 

Joshua Madegyem stopped Tyson Cabbotot via first-round technical knockout win while Alester Tagure knocked down Terrence Vallejo in the second round in the semi-pro mixed martial arts bouts. 

The amateur boxing lineup saw Francis Jerick Masangcay winning a first-round knockout of Justin Behis; Louie Kimmayong clinched a split decision win over Davis Tambalong; Jedric Orapa knocked out Sean Bao-idang in the second round; and Nas Bestudio bagged a unanimous decision against Ricky Batio-an.

In the amateur kickboxing, Ivan Bryle Bestre scored a unanimous decision over John Rey Mendoza; Adrian Pinangga outclassed win Shiander Alley Casel; and Michael Mango scored a split decision win over Christian John Espiritu.

In the female amateur boxing, Caryll Sial scored a second-round TKO against Amarra Sebaten while the fight between Anne Ray Acuat and Pathiel Eave dela Rosa was declared no-contest by the WCCS Philippines review board as the referee stopped the contest with no mandatory count given to dela Rosa in the second round.

In the male kids amateur kickboxing, Chexter Yafe Ludaes defeated John Paul Sayaan via a unanimous decision while Robert Bagni won over Yan-Der Linang via split decision.

The fight night is the eighth event of WCCS Philippines in La Trinidad since its inaugural bout in 2013 in the municipality. 

The event featured semi-pro MMA, boxing, and kickboxing, which is the unique style of WCCS promotion showcasing mixed fights apart from the usual pure MMA or pure boxing promotion. – Ofelia C. Empian
