Filipino rising boxer Carl Jammes Martin continues to improve his world rankings across four major boxing promotions following his second-round knockout of Thai Komgrich Nantapech in La Trinidad, Benguet last December.

The victory also won for Martin the International Boxing (IBF) Federation Pan Pacific super bantamweight belt.

As of this month, Martin, who now has 22 wins and zero loss, ranked sixth in the super bantamweight/junior featherweight world ranking in the IBF.

Fellow Filipino boxer Marlon Tapales, who has 36 wins and three losses ranked first in the same division

The 23-year-old boxing pride of Lagawe, Ifugao is also ranked eighth by the World Boxing Organization (WBO).

The World Boxing Association (WBA) ranked Martin at 12th spot with Murodjon Akhmadaliev of Uzbekistan, who has 11 wins against zero loss, as the world champ.  He is also the reigning IBF champion.

Martin, on the other hand, is also the reigning WBA Asia super bantamweight champion.
