The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will conduct the Medical Technologists Licensure Examination (MTLE) on Aug. 20 and 21 in Baguio City for 427 examinees. 

The testing venues are Baguio Central School and Josefa Cariño Elementary School, both in Yandoc St.

All examinees are required to accomplish the entry record sent to their email addresses or posted at www.facebook.com/prc cordillera for monitoring and contact tracing purposes.

Examinees coming outside of Baguio, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba and Tublay must strictly adhere to the latest entry protocols of Baguio City as posted www.facebook.com/pio.baguio.

At the PRC examination venue, all examinees shall present and submit the following: notice of admission; any of the following – photocopy of the complete vaccination card/certificate if fully vaccinated (An individual is considered fully vaccinated for Covid-19 after a period of at least two weeks from having received the second dose of a two-dose series; or after a period of two weeks from having received a single-dose vaccine). Last dose should have been administered on or before Aug. 5; or hard copy of the negative RT-PCR test result (not antigen test), date of collection shall be within the period Aug. 15 to 19, 2022; or original copy of the certificate of mandatory quarantine for 14 days that shall end within the period Aug. 15 to 19, or its equivalent signed by any of the following: any government or private physician, or barangay officer visiting the examinee’s residence attesting that he/she has been in quarantine for 14 days.

The duly accomplished informed consent form and health declaration checklist (Annexes A and B of PRC-DOH-PNP Joint Administrative Order 2021-01 downloadable at www.pre.qov.ph).

Examinees are advised to prepare the documents stated in item numbers 1, 2 and 3 as the PRC-CAR will not photocopy or print compliance documents.

They are advised to refer to the program of examination for other things to bring, uniform, and allowed and prohibited items.

Examinees shall submit the post-examination health surveillance form (Annex C of the PRC-DOH-PNP Joint Administrative Order 2021-01) to [email protected] 15 days after the examination or on Sept. 5.

An examinee shall be allowed to defer taking the licensure examination provided that the following documents are submitted on or before Aug. 5: written request duly signed by examinee and photocopy or electronic copy of the notice of admission.

Transfer to another testing center shall no longer be allowed.

In the event of failure to take the August 2022 MTLE, examinees may submit a written request with the required supporting documents on or before Aug. 28, 2022, and will be allowed to take the immediately succeeding MTLE subject to the following valid reasons: health-related reasons – must be supported with a medical certificate; and quarantine-related travel restrictions – must be supported with an official certificate of border/travel restrictions issued by the concerned local government unit.

The written request and supporting documents must be submitted through email [email protected] or [email protected].

Examinees are advised to keep their notice of admission for use during the next examination.

Examinees and examination personnel are reminded to strictly observe the minimum health standards set in the PRC-DOH-PNP JAO 2021-01 dated July 28, 2021 for everyone’s safety, and to immediately go home after the conduct of the examination.

With Baguio’s weather condition, examinees and examination personnel are advised to use additional laver of clothing, bring rain gears, and flashlights in case of power outage at the testing venue.

The PRC thanked the Cordillera Inter Agency Task Force and RTF, the City Government of Baguio, Bureau of Fire Protection, Baguio City Police Office, Department of Education, and examination personnel for their support and cooperation.

The PRC warned there may be unscrupulous individuals that name-drop officials and employees of the PRC and the members of the Professional Regulatory Boards for their nefarious activities and to report immediately to [email protected] any knowledge of such illegal acts.

Further, concerned parties are told not to be a victim of fixers. Checking of test papers is computerized and with no human intervention. Test results are final and there is no re-checking or viewing of test papers pursuant to PRC Resolution 2004-223. – Press release
