Pursuant to the directives of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, the Professional Regulation Commission postponed the Pharmacists and Radiologic Technologists and X-ray Technologists licensure examinations.

For the Pharmacists Licensure Exam, which is scheduled on April 25 and 26, the PRC said the test is postponed in areas under general community quarantine to avoid cross-border transfer of examinees.

The exam will be conducted only in areas under modified general community quarantine: Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Pangasinan, and Zamboanga.

Only the examinees assigned at said venues will be allowed to take the exam as scheduled.

Affected examinees will be taking their examination on dates to be determined by the PRC and approved by the IATF.

For the Radiologic Technologists and X-ray Technologists exam, which is originally scheduled today, April 11, and tomorrow have been rescheduled to May 16 and 17.

This is due to the prevailing health risks and continued restrictions brought by the extended community quarantines including the surge of new Covid-19 variant cases, and to ensure the health and safety of all examinees and examination personnel, the PRC said. – Press release
