SPECTACULAR FINALE — The full-blown celebration of the Baguio Flower Festival or Panagbenga 2023 closed with a spectacular fireworks display on March 5 which also signals a new chapter for this city that is on the road to recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic. The BFF Foundation Inc. has acknowledged the strong support of participants in the traditional events, especially the grand street dancing and parade of floats. The success of the community-led festival has been an inspiration to other local government units to mount their own festivals, as the Panagbenga has become a template for other festivals to grow. — Harley Palangchao
