The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority-Cordillera provided skills training to 115 Tsuper Iskolars in Abra.

The scholars received free skills training, skills assessment, entrepreneurship training, and training support fund equivalent to P350 per day for 35 days.

The beneficiaries  enrolled in barista, animal production (swine and poultry), and backhoe operation.

The scholars are drivers who were displaced by the public utility vehicle modernization program, stakeholders who exited from the transport industry, those who continue to work in the transport industry, new stakeholders in the transport industry, and family members/dependents of affected stakeholders up to the third degree of consanguinity or affinity.

The project aims to capacitate stakeholders through training and development of new training regulations to support the transportation industry. – Press release
