Mixed martial arts fighter Carlo Von Bumina-ang will face American kickboxer Asa Ten Pow in ONE Fight Night 24 at the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Aug. 3.

It will be a debut fight for Bumina-ang in the ONE Championship main roster after he signed a $100,000 contract with Asia premier martial arts promotion recently.

Bumina-ang, 30, has achieved a life-changing contract when he secured his fifth consecutive win under the ONE Friday Fight Series in an impressive fashion.

In his latest fight, the Team Lakay rising star submitted Charyan Oorzhak of Mongolia via ninja choke in the second round. He received $10,000 performance bonus.

The fighting pride of Ifugao showed he was the more dominant fighter, as he kept the Mongolian opponent at bay with his barrage of powerful punches.

The duel was named “Fight of the Night”.

The 34-year-old Pow, on the other hand, has one win as a professional MMA fighter, but with an impressive record of 13 wins against two losses in kickboxing and Muay Thai combined.

His lone MMA victory came by way of technical knockout when he stopped Earnest Walls in Titan Fighting Championship 72 on Sept. 17, 2021.

Pow will have height and reach advantages, as he is four inches taller than the fighting pride of Ifugao who stands 5’5”.

The American fighter started his journey with hybrid karate when he was five years old. His mother enrolled him in classes to build his confidence and help him protect himself against bullies, according to his ONE resume.
