BANGUED, Abra – The recently concluded Dapil Festival Trade Fair and food bazaar generated a total of P2,365,227 sales, the Department of Trade and Industry provincial office, reported.
The DTI said 58 entrepreneurs participated in the trade fair.
Locally-made accessories, home decorations and furnishings, food, health and wellness products, furniture, woven bamboo products, bamboo handicrafts, native delicacies and clothing such as the abel, footwear and jewelry were among the products sold at the fair.
DTI-Abra Director Samuel Gallardo lauded the small, micro, and medium enterprises that joined in the activity. He said participating in trade fairs capacitates local entrepreneurs to promote their products to a larger market
He said that the DTI continues to encourage MSMEs to innovate and produce good quality products that would attract the attention of consumers in the national level. – Christian Tubadeza
