Biking enthusiasts in the Cordillera are up for the 17-kilometer Tublay uphill bike race on Aug. 7. 
The bike ride for-a-cause features the 19 years old and below, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 and up, and the open categories for female mountain bike and male road bike. 
The diversion road in Ambuklao, Bokod, Benguet will be the starting area then participants will negotiate through the winding Labey Road.
They would then exit to Tublay up to the finish line at the Polig’s Farm in Barangay Ambassador.   
Registration fee is P650 inclusive of post-race meal, medal, radio-frequency identification (RFID) chip, and one aid station during the event backed by Bayanihan Cordillera, Team Pinikpikan, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15, Highway Patrol Group, Team Pine, Tublay local government, and Aid Station Cafe and Ridge Cafe. 
Interested participants have until Aug. 3 to register at Aid Station Cafe in La Trinidad, Lagalag outdoor shop, and Toyville shop in Baguio City and Ridge Cafe in Tublay.
They may also register online through the link provided in the “Tublay Uphill Bike Race” event’s page.
Organizers said participants are required to have tire specifications of minimum of 1.95 for MTB and slick tire is not allowed.
Meanwhile, the third Ambuklao MTB Challenge in Itogon originally set for July 24 was moved to July 31 due to the continuous rainfall.
The bike challenge featured eight categories.
