More than 1,000 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries in Kalinga were elevated to a higher level of well-being.

Based on the 2021 Social Welfare Development Indicator report of the Department of Social Welfare and Development-Kalinga, 1,727 4Ps beneficiaries were elevated to levels 2 and 3 of well-being.

There are 1,300 4Ps families that were elevated to level 2 or subsistence level, which means they can live without 4Ps assistance while 427 stepped up to level 3 or are self-sufficient and eligible for graduation from Pantawid upon their assessment.

As of April 30, there are 10,747 households covered under the Regular Conditional Cash Transfer (RCCT) and 214 under the Modified Conditional Cash Transfer (MCCT).

In another matrix on compliance to conditions attached to the 4Ps program, 95.66 percent of MCCT beneficiaries are compliant on education, 97.10 percent on health, and 93.49 percent on attendance to family development sessions.

Under RCCT, beneficiaries attained a 98.83 percent health monitoring compliant turnout, 98.64 percent on education, and 95.12 percent on family development sessions.

Under the 4Ps program, children zero to five years old must receive regular preventive health check-ups and vaccines while children aged six to 14 must receive deworming pills twice a year.

Children-beneficiaries aged three to 18 years old must enroll in school and maintain an attendance of at least 85 percent of class days every month.

Pregnant women must get pre and post-natal care and be attended by a skilled/trained professional during child birth.

Parents or guardians must attend responsible family development sessions. – PIA Kalinga
