SquidPay Technology, Inc. continues to collaborate with the different transport groups and business establishments in the implementation of the cashless payment program.
SquidPay Executive Officer Elmar Panganiban said 421 public transport units have so far been deployed for the automatic fare collection (AFC).
Fifty merchants have also been on boarded including cafe and restaurants, coffee shops, gas stations, groceries, hotels, spa and salons, shops, hardware, pharmacies, flower shops, and emission testing centers.
The company has also set up various stations in the different parts of the city to facilitate on boarding, registration, and card distribution.
The company has been collaborating with different merchants in the city to facilitate their enrollment to the system.
They also provide drive-through automatic fare collection subscription in the following areas: Baguio Public Market where there are three stations; Baguio City Hall; Shell Naguillian, Shell Marcos Highway, Caltex Abanao, and Porta Vaga Mall.
The city government partnered with the payment solutions company for the cashless and contactless payment system in Baguio.
