A total of 4,744 children aged five to 11 have registered for Covid-19 vaccination as of 1 p.m. Jan. 6.
The city government opened enlistment for children last Jan. 1 in preparation for the rollout of the vaccination program for the age group.
The City Health Services Office said they will announce the schedule of the vaccination soon.
As of Jan. 5, the city has fully vaccinated a total of 258,953 adults out of the target of 281,000 for a 92.15 percent accomplishment. For adults with at least one dose, the city has inoculated a total of 283,929 for a 101.04 percent achievement.
The 281,000 target is 95 percent of the total eligible adult population of the city. It went beyond the goal set by the Department of Health at 70 percent or 262,185 adults.
Based on the Department of Health-Cordillera’s target, the city’s vaccination rate for adult population is 108.61 percent for fully vaccinated and 120.56 percent for partially vaccinated adults.
A total of 33,219 have availed of the booster doses.
For the pediatric population aged 12 to 17 years, the city has partially immunized a total of 32,002 or 74.75 percent of the target population of 42,811 and fully vaccinated a total of 27,557 or 64.36 percent. – Aileen P. Refuerzo
