TUBA, Benguet – Law enforcers and civilian shooters participated in a recent shootfest-for-a cause at the West Point Shooting Range here.
The 2nd Regional Civil Security Unit-Cordillera Unity Shoot Fest, which was participated in by 79 gun enthusiasts, aimed to raise funds to finance the various programs and projects of the Regional Civil Security Unit-Cordillera Regional Advisory Council during this pandemic.
It also served as refresher for gun enthusiasts on firearms safety and handling.
The winner in the Standard Category was Ramon Gualberto while Jack Adriano topped the Production Category.
Von Vucienco was the Production Optics champion while Joey Sagmit topped the Classic Division. Rohel Bilibli was adjudged the champion in the Open Division.
Organizers made sure that health and safety protocols were implemented like the filling up of health declaration, wearing of face mask, observance of physical distancing, and washing of hands. – Joseph B. Zambrano
