A LONG-TIME DREAM — The ongoing road opening project that will connect the remote barangay of Badeo, Kibungan, Benguet to the national highway is on track in spite of the precarious terrain leading to the village. Residents of Badeo used to trek for seven to eight hours to reach the national highway but at present, the road, which can be traversed by off-road vehicles and trucks, has cut the hiking hours to five hours. — Harley Palangchao
