In Tublay, Benguet a local darters club in Route 21, known as the Ambassador Darters Club led by Lailyn Polig, is actively involved in philanthropic endeavors.

The club, composed of youth and adults, sponsors darts for-a-cause, a program aimed at supporting local schools.

Their contributions include providing paint for school building renovations and beautification by supplying building and cleaning materials during Brigada Eskwela activities.

Since the club’s inception a few years ago, it has extended a helping hand to various schools such as the Mamuyod and Sto. Niño elementary schools.

The club also extends financial assistance to individuals dealing with chronic illnesses, such as cancer, through darts-for- a cause initiative.

These efforts highlight their commitment to community improvement and amplify the positive impact of collective philanthropy.

Polig, the club’s coordinator and organizer, is a sports enthusiast, nurse, and entrepreneur.

The club thanks the darters, donors and those who joined the raffle for being instrumental in the success of each dart- for-a-cause the club initiates. – Tess Macasinag
