REFORMATION PARTNERSHIP — The municipality of Bontoc represented by Mayor Jerome Tudlong has entered into a memorandum of agreement with Tadian municipality represented by Mayor Constito Masweng for the former to avail services of the PDEA-supervised Balay Si-langan Reformatory Center owned by the latter in Tadian, Mountain Province. Assisting during the MOA signing were members of the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council of both municipalities. — Alpine Killa-Malwagay

BONTOC, Mountain Province – In a symbolic gesture of commitment towards creating a drug-free community, the local government of Bontoc signed a memorandum of agreement with the local government of Tadian for the former to avail the services of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-supervised Balay Silangan Reformatory Center in Tadian.

Bontoc was represented by Mayor Jerome Tudlong, Jr., while Tadian was represented by Mayor Constito Masweng with some employees from both LGUs as witnesses.

Balay Silangan is a community-based reformation center that provides a safe and supportive environment for drug surrenderees to undergo rehabilitation and reintegrate into society. The center offers various programs and activities aimed at helping individuals recover from drug addiction and acquire life skills.
