A joint inspection team of the Department of Education-Benguet and the Department of Public Works and Highways found some deficiencies in the 4STY- 4CL, 2 Sci Lab, 2 ICT Lab School Building of Daklan National High School.
The team recommended for Kalahan Construction to institute corrective measures such as application of epoxy on the cracks on the walls and floors; install missing lighting fixtures, J-bolts in between texcrews at the roof, clip angles, screw of fire alarms; fix cover of floor drains, rectify doors and windows, install two units 2HP centrifugal pump, add hangers at the ceiling, remove excess steel at the comfort rooms, retouch peeling paints, and rectify all leakage.
Kalahan Construction was given 30 calendar days from Jan. 20 to implement the recommendations of the inspection team.
The inspection team is composed of Ceasar B. Lumaang and Project Engineer/Architect Denver E. Sin-ot of the DepEd and Jeffrey Tinoy-an and Engr. Melba N. Himmoldang of DPWH-Benguet.
