The Land Transportation, Franchising and Regulatory Board has allowed a bus company to operate from Poblacion, Kibungan, Benguet to La Trinidad, Benguet and vice versa since Sept. 29.

Bus company Four ACE will service residents of Kibungan on a limited capacity in compliance to the guidelines set by the National Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.

The local government of Kibungan has announced in its official Facebook page the bus will ferry passengers at 6 a.m. at its staging area at Barangay Poblacion then will ferry passengers back to the municipality at 3 p.m. at its terminal at Sunrise Trading at Km. 4, La Trinidad.

The company will operate on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday with 23 passengers only.

Passengers are required to get a health declaration form from their respective barangay halls prior to boarding the bus. Use of facemask, face shield and observance of physical distancing is mandatory at all times.

Benguet Provincial Information Officer Silver Pilo said among the 13 municipalities of the province, only trips going to and from Kibungan has been approved by the LTFRB. – Ofelia C. Empian
