TABUK CITY, Kalinga – The Department of Labor and Employment opened the online application for the second round of Covid-19 Adjustment Measure Program (CAMP2) under the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act.
DOLE-Kalinga head Avelina Manganip said the priority applicants under CAMP2 are workers who were not served under the first round of the program earlier this year.
Beneficiaries of the program who will receive P5,000 cash aid are workers of small private establishments whose operation were affected by the lockdowns imposed to mitigate the spread of the Covid-19.
Based on CAMP guidelines, a qualified applicant must not be a recipient of other government financial aid.
To hasten the release of claims, beneficiaries directly receive the aid through accredited partner remittance companies.
Under CAMP 1, DOLE released P13,070,000 grant to more than 2,640 formal workers in Kalinga. – Larry Lopez
