Felex Dave Cantores will lead other Cordilleran fighters against their opponents in the sixth edition of “Tapang sa Tapang” MMA and Pro-Am debut event on July 15 in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan.
The 20-year-old Cantores of Kafagway MMA will battle it out against 28-year-old Fabiano Reymon, Jr. of Made of Steel Taraki in the co-main event.
Both fighters attempt to improve their fight records with Cantores having four wins and two losses while Reymon has five wins and three losses.
The 11-bout event, organized by Taraki Gym Pangasinan, will have fighters coming from the Cordillera, Regions 1, 2, and Metro Manila.
Jed Ganaban of Taraki Gym, who has a 4-1 record, and Jerome Ramirez of Hyper MMA, 2-1, will banner the event.
Silverback MMA Tuguegarao’s Jay-ar Irang is set to fight Arsenio Balisacan Jr. of Red Lion; Roy Menzi, Jr. of Team Quads will go head-to-head against Jayson Mark Vedana of International Malayan Sports Combat; and Red Lion’s Israel Balisacan will fight El Yu Bagwis’ Kervin Lampacan.
Fight fans will also witness debuting young fighters during the event with Arvin Sabado of Tribu Banwar fighting Avery Kurt Patting of Tribal Submission Fitworks Fitness; Alester Tagure against Art Caparida; and Rodney Magnus versus Jeremy Cabic.
Also debuting are James Russel Montemayor of Alaminos MMA against Gerico Kiat-ong of Fight Corps MMA; Curtis Kitong of Tribal Submission Fitworks Fitness Gym versus Brandon Bolligan of Red Lion; and the youngest fighter, Jenor Lacwasan, 16, of Say-ang Fitness will fight Daryl Marcelion, 21, of Evolutions. – Ofelia C.
