The Sinapangan ES was severely affected by flashflood during Typhoon Egay in July this year, damaging all school properties and electronic gadgets.

The school was the venue during the provincial kickoff of the Brigada Eskwela 2023 in August by the Department of Education Schools Division of Abra.

During the Brigada kickoff rites, the CGFI has formally turned over seven high-end laptops to select integrated schools in the province.

Such event inspired the faculty staff of Sinapangan ES to formalize the request for laptop for the said school.

“Books, school records, furniture, building structures, school laptops, and other electronic devices that we constantly used in the school, especially in the learning and teaching processes, were all damaged,” reads the letter of Viado to CGFI.

Aside from the laptop, the school also requested for a printer and other computers for use both of the students and teachers.
