CIRCLE OF EXCELLENCE — Baguio Midland Courier Editor-in-Chief Harley Palangchao has been conferred the “Circle of Excellence” award by the jury in the SinagLarawan 2023: Ang Pinoy Matibay Photo Contest sponsored by the Japan Tobacco International (JTI). Palangchao, along with the other winners, were honored in ceremonies at The Gallery, Greenbelt 5, Makati City on Oct. 25. His winning entry, which was selected from 100 photo finalists, highlights the indomitable spirit of the villagers of Hungduan, Ifugao in celebrating the “punnuk”, one of the post-harvest events passed through generations.
