The city government led by Mayor Benjamin Magalong and Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan awarded certificates of commendation to the administrations and managements of the four vaccination centers and the isolation facility that were instrumental in the city’s fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
The big sites are the University of Baguio gym, Bishop Carlito Cenzon Sports Center, SM City Baguio, and Baguio Country Club, while the isolation facility was at Teachers’ Camp.
“Without these big sites, we (the city) could not have attained high at the fastest vaccination time and to as many people as possible,” Asst. City Health Officer Celia Flor Brillantes said.
The UB and SLU vaccination centers have recently ceased operations but SM City Baguio and Baguio Country Club continue to serve as big vaccination sites.
