The National Nutrition Council-Cordillera invites singers and/or composers to join the Cordillera NutriSong 2020 competition.  
NNC Regional Coordinator Rita Papey announced the holding of the music competitions which is in line with the celebration of the Nutrition Month and Cordillera Month this July.   
Deadline for submission of entries is 12 p.m., July 23.  Each province of the region will have one entry and a separate entry for those representing any one local nutrition committee such as barangay, municipal, city, or provincial.
The entry should be anchored on the theme “Batang Pinoy, sana all… iwas stunting, sama all.” It should also include messages related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The song must be recorded in mp4 video format at 1,280 by 720 pixel resolution and with subtitles.
The song duration is three to four minutes including warm up song until the recitation of the Cordillera Month theme at the end.
Entry could be in the dialect and/or with English, Tagalog and Ilocano using Cordillera or indigenous melody or tune.
The guideline allows a minimum of three to a maximum of five participants who will be appearing in the video presentation excluding those playing instruments at the background if any.
Entry may be accompanied by recorded or live musical instruments and should never have been used in any competition.
All entries will be uploaded in the NNC-CAR Facebook page from July 24 to July 30 for sharing in generating reactions which is part of the criteria (40 percent).  
Other criteria for judging are song message (30 percent); musicality (10 percent); use of indigenous melody (10 percent), and creativity and overall performance (10 percent).
The first prize winner will receive P30,000 cash; second prize – P25,000; third prize – P20,000; and consolation prize of P7,000. Each winner will also be receiving a certificate.
