City officials granted authority to the Hepatology Society of the Philippines (HSP) co-organized by the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center and the Department of Health to conduct the LIVERUN 2024: Malusog na atay, masayang buhay, an advocacy run on Jan. 6, 2024.
In Resolution 758, s. 2024, the city council approved the request subject to compliance with Ordinance 89, which requires adherence to minimum health standards, including the safety of the runners and pedestrians.
The council also required the organizer or race director to coordinate with the Baguio City Police Office relative to the conduct of the event. – PIO release
